of Conventional Filters

Conventional activated carbon filters are effective for PFOA and PFOS, but are largely ineffective against
short-chain PFAS compounds such as PFHxS, PFHpA, HFPO-DA (GenX), and PFBS.
The WACO ECO-PFAS(ACF) FILTER overcomes this limitation using a proprietary oyster shell-derived ACF adsorbent,
achieving verified removal of a broader range of PFAS substances.

A porous calcium silicate (CaO₃Si) matrix engineered from discarded oyster shells
